When people buy a computer, one of the things that they like to do is give it a touch of personalization. Changing to a Premade Theme
You will have plenty of options from which you can choose when you are looking at the different themes with Windows 7. To get to the theme area, right click on your desktop and then go into the Personalize section. From the window that pops up, you will see a host of different themes including Architecture, Characters, Landscapes, Nature, and more. You will even have the option of connecting to the Internet and finding more of the themes to use.
You can find a theme that you want and click on it. Once you click, then you are using a new theme. Check to see how the theme looks and works for you, and if you don’t like it or want to see something else, you can just click onto another theme. It’s fast and easy to find something that suits you.
Custom Themes are an Option
Of course, you might find elements in one theme that you love and some that you don’t like. You can create your own custom themes if you would prefer. It’s quite easy. Simply change your desktop background, the colors, screensaver, and sounds that you want to use. Once you do this, the information is stored automatically in the Personalization window. It is going to be at the top under Unsaved Themes. Simply right click on it and save the theme. It will then show up in your theme section.
You could spend quite a bit of time coming up with the perfect theme, and many people have fun doing it. Find some elements that work with your personality and start developing your own theme for your laptop or desktop today.
